NERA-Oklahoma Sooner Chapter is a non-profit organization located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Its members are Active Reserve, and Retired Naval Personnel and their families. Who volunteer their time and efforts in maintaining and preserving its mission. 

The Mission of the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association - Oklahoma Sooner Chapter, is to promote Honor and Patriotism to this great nation. Honor the Veterans of the Past and Present, that have made our freedom more meaningful. To remember the extreme sacrifices that these brave men and women have made! Including those currently serving here and abroad.

NERA - Oklahoma Sooner Chapter has programs established to provide assistance to Naval Reserve families in time of need, within the Oklahoma area. Donations received from flag presentations (minus cleaning/maintenance fees), corporate and private sponsorships, numerous fundraising activities, are overseen by a Board of Directors. Who then decides how best to distribute the funds, to better meet the needs of the programs.

A scholarship program is setup for our future leaders within the Oklahoma area.These young men and women are nominated for the assistance. Based on their achievements in High School and their financial need, the Board of Directors select those that they believe are deserving of the assistance.
